I am here with the Johns Hopkins Catholic Community at the Church of Saints Philip and James in Baltimore, MD. Today, we commemorate Pentecost, the day the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus’ followers. Among the spiritual gifts bestowed upon the believers was the gift tongues (Acts 2). Our words possess the power to bring hope and salvation to all without discrimination.
