So I already went to church on Saturday night, thus fulfilling my “obligation” (I see it rather as a “opportunity.”), but I had a gap in between events in Baltimore on Sunday morning, so I decided on a whim to explore a new church nearby. What a blessing it was!
The Church of the Nativity in Lutherville-Timonium, MD was packed, but what the picture does not depict is that there was an overflow in the cafe and standing room in the hallways going out of the door. It is not even a Holy Day! Reverend Michael White is a great preacher and most importantly, this is an authentic, diverse faith community committed to sharing the Word of God to all nations. Jesus’ disciples are alive and well.
